Eva is the daughter of the Englishman who left his homeland for a forest of bigaradiers. Under the hot Sicilian sun, the young English nymph runs barefoot on the hot and fertile earth. She is intoxicated by the sweet scent of the bitter orange tree and enchants those who pass her by her freshness and vivacity.
Eva will never leave this radiant and tormented nature.
As an artist, she stages it in the gardens and parks of the great baroque villas of Noto.
