PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum is a gentle chemical lip exfoliator containing 5% gluconolactone and 1.5% alpha-hydroxy acids to smooth and moisturize lips. Gluconolactone is a polhydroxy acid (PHA) that works by dissolving the structures that bind dead cells together. Thanks to their higher molecular weight, PHAs act on the skin's surface and offer gentle exfoliation, making them suitable for sensitive skin. 

This formula also contains a high concentration (>50%) of glycerine to boost hydration and retain water, as well as ectoin to support the skin barrier and provide long-lasting hydration. It also contains black carrot extract, known for its antioxidant properties, which adds a light pink tint to the formulation. This plant-derived ingredient may cause variations in product color, from bright pink to pale peach, without affecting its efficacy.

PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum helps promote cellular renewal of the lips, improving their appearance and texture over time, It can be used as a base under Squalane + Amino Acid Lip Balm to gently remove dry, dead skin, and moisturize lips overnight.

Note: A slightly acidic taste may be perceived when using the product. This is due to the exfoliating acids that help renew and smooth lips gently.
