A large purple daisy-like flower originating from North America, Asters were used by Dakota Indians for healing warrior wounds. The active part of the Aster lies in its polysaccharides which are renowned for their soothing properties and help strengthen the scalp's natural defenses.

In the language of flowers, its name conjures up sorcery and spells. Considered to be magical and mysterious, North American Indians believed it was bewitched. The name 'Witch Hazel' comes from the seemingly enchanted way its seeds are ejected from the fruit as it matures.

Adapted to the climate of south Madagascar, Moringa is a legendary tree, nicknamed the “tree of eternity." Able to survive in a hostile environment, it has numerous nutritional and medicinal properties.
