BEFORE LIGHTING YOUR CANDLECPSTRD Cut the wick to a height of 0.5 to 1 cm from the wax surface. Place the candle on a stable surface, protected from heat and draughts, to ensure even melting.
WHEN THE CANDLE IS LIGHTEDCPSTRD Let the candle burn until the surface wax is completely liquid (about 2h). Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it out of reach of children, pets, curtains and other flammable materials.
Never move a burning candle or one with liquid wax.
Avoid placing a burning candle in a draught or in direct contact with a precious surface.
ExTINGUISHING YOUR CANDLE AND PRESERVING IT
You can gently blow out the candle or use a snuffer.
Don't move the candle until the wax has set.
To prepare the candle for its next use, use pliers to dip the wick into the wax, then straighten it. Keep your candle away from light or heat sources. We recommend storing it in a cupboard to delicately scent your linen.
