It was during a trip to Morocco that Christophe Raynaud visited a leatherworker's workshop, where the real smell of leather hung in the air. He passionately observed the craftsman's meticulous work on the bright red leather. The darkness of the room contrasted sharply with the bright light outside. He was inspired to create a duet of leather and raspberry between light and shade Cuir Grenat the perfumer wanted scents to feel like touch. So raspberry and leather can be seen as well as smelled; they are aromas and scents, possessing unexpected opposites and similarities. Show less
