Founded in 1643, the House of Trudon became famous for its candles, torches and other lighting candles. The House of Trudon became a Royal Wax Factory in 1719. These large candles, called Royal Candles, have the same format as those that once adorned the King's apartments in Versailles. They are made in our workshops in Normandy, then covered manually in colored wax baths, specially developed. The Royal Candles are made of high purity wax, they do not drip and produce a regular flame that does not produce smoke.
