The results on 47 subjects are extremely positive as they show significant differences on 5 criteria selected as main or secondary namely:
Total sleep time (chosen as primary criterion) increased by an average of 21 minutes 4 weeks after the reference week.
Morning energy score improved by 15.8% at week 4.
Morning freshness increased significantly from week 2 showing an 18.1% improvement at week 4 compared to baseline.
The night quality score improved by 12.5% at week 4 compared to the reference week.
And the sleep quality score evaluated by the Spiegel scale (a validated scale used in reference studies, evaluating the following 6 criteria: time to fall asleep, sleep quality, sleep duration, nocturnal awakenings, number of dreams and state upon awakening) increased significantly from the second week and improved by 8.3% between the 4th week and the reference week.
The results of this clinical study conducted on 47 patients suffering from fragile sleep, aimed at evaluating the efficacy and tolerance of Puressentiel Sleep-Depression Spray with 12 essential oils, show an increase in sleep time, as well as in the quality of sleep and wakefulness continuously over 3 weeks of use of the product + one week of cessation. There is thus an effect both on the night and on the morning repercussions of sleep.
No rebound effect or withdrawal phenomenon was observed when the spray was stopped, and tolerance and acceptability were excellent.
