Ambrette seeds are harvested by hand from small plots in the rainforests of northern Peru. Sun-dried, sifted, cleaned and ventilated, they reveal rich, complex facets with floral, amber, musky and powdery accents.

Perfumer Marie Hugentobler has chosen to express them to the full. Following a lively, luminous opening of mandarin and angelica, the animalic, suave and carnal notes of ambrette are revealed and coiled in a base of sandalwood and ambroxan, with elegance and restraint.
