Retinal Emulsion 0.2% is a powerful retinoid formula that rapidly firms and smoothes skin, while visibly reducing the appearance of dark spots. It helps refine skin texture, while targeting complexion irregularities and boosting luminosity for brighter, more even-looking skin.

The serum-textured formula is suitable for all skin types and is recommended for experienced retinoid users. If you're using retinoids for the first time, we recommend starting with Granactive Retinoid Emulsion 2% or Retinol 0.2% in Squalane, before moving on to higher concentrations as your skin develops tolerance.

Retinal (also known as retinaldehyde) is a highly-studied retinoid that delivers the most direct form of vitamin A molecules more efficiently than retinol, due to a conversion step closer to the bioactive form of vitamin A. With a high concentration of 0.2% retinal, the emulsion can visibly improve skin firmness and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, including crow's feet, expression lines and frown lines.

Retinal Emulsion 0.2% also contains synthetic oat analogues (in particular avenanthramide, a key beneficial component of oats). This ingredient helps combat skin discomfort and dryness, common phenomena associated with the use of retinoids.

The formula's bright yellow hue comes from the high concentration of retinal, which is naturally yellow. It can leave a residual coloration on skin and light-colored tissues, which can be minimized by letting the product penetrate completely and allowing the skin to dry before coming into contact with light-colored tissues. This residual color can be removed by washing the skin with water and fabrics with your usual detergent, in accordance with the care instructions. Show less
