TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL is extracted by distilling the leaves, which gives it a powerful, camphorated scent.

Native to Australia, the tea tree is a large, bushy, evergreen shrub that was discovered by naturalists accompanying Cook on a journey down the Endeavour River. They named it after the fact that they used it as a substitute for tea, finding it fragrant and invigorating.
