SPRING ON YOUR SKIN
STAR INGREDIENT OF THE MONTH
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs)
What are those three letters? They are water-soluble natural (surface) acids derived from plant sources: citric acid (from citrus fruits), glycolic acid (from sugar cane), lactic acid (from milk), mandelic acid (from bitter almonds) or malic acid (from pears, apples, grapes).
AHAs gently exfoliate the surface of the skin through chemical action. But fear not! Chemical doesn't mean granules or mechanical action, which can often be harsh on sensitive skin.
They work by removing the build-up of dead cells on the stratum corneum, responsible for uneven appearance and dull complexion, to stimulate cell regeneration for fresher, smoother, more radiant skin.
This is what gives your skin its famous glow! They are also powerful antioxidants that help skin fight premature ageing.
The benefits of AHA
Gently exfoliates for a 'new skin' effect
Promotes cell renewal
Removes imperfections from the skin
Stimulates collagen production
The Results
Radiant complexion
Faded dark spots
Refined skin texture
Tightened pores
Smoothed wrinkles
Firmer skin
AHAs are photosensitive. It is therefore recommended that you incorporate them into your evening routine and always use a high protection sunscreen during the day while limiting exposure.
M·A·C
Spring is here!
M·A·C invites you to discover which lipsticks best match your spring outfits. The trend is for nude and peachy colours: choose the new MACximal lipstick in Honeylove or Velvet Teddy for soft lips. Depending on your skin tone, we recommend Boldly Bare (light skin), Cork (medium skin) or Chestnut (dark skin) lip liners to define the lips contour and make the colour last longer.
Contrast matte lip with a glow foundation like Studio Radiance and a highlighter blush like Extra Dimension. Finish with a touch of Strobe Cream, to highlight certain parts of your face.
