Gently tap the brush once or twice on the back of the hand to remove any excess product.
For brushes with a flat ferrule, apply with a pressing motion and smooth to blend.

HAND POSITION AND HANDHOLD: For precise, detailed application

Hold the brush in the center of the handle or closer to the ferrule between thumb and middle finger.
For more control, use a pointer finger with a light touch on the handle, which will act as a "guide" during application. You should feel as if you're balancing the brush.

HAND POSITION AND HANDHOLD: To blend and diffuse

Hold the brush with a loose grip closer to the end of the handle with your thumb, pointer and middle finger
Use your wrists rather than your fingers to guide you, which will give you the most results "as you go".
