Apply sunscreen before exposure to the sun, and reapply frequently to maintain protection, especially after perspiring, swimming or toweling off. Don't stay in the sun too long, even if you're using a sun protection product. Do not expose babies and young children to direct sunlight. Overexposure to the sun is a serious threat to health. Don't go out in the sun between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., the hottest hours of the day.
