Fresh, sweet orange essential oil is fruity and light.
If the orange tree comes from Asia (the sweet orange is in German the "apple of China"), it is widespread in hot countries: all around the Mediterranean, Maghreb, China, South Africa, Australia. The Washington Navel variety, born in Brazil in 1820, flooded the market; this country is the world's leading exporter of orange juice.

This essential oil is EOBBD (Botanically and Biochemically Defined Essential Oil).
