Arpège was commissioned by couturier Jeanne Lanvin for the thirtieth birthday of her beloved daughter Marie-Blanche, to whom she wished to give \"the most beautiful parfum in the world\". All the harmony of music, composed like a poem. Arpège parfum of natural essences and flower absolutes, is a symbol of all women in love with beauty and love, elegance and refinement.

The exceptional bottle was created by Armand Albert Rateau, a renowned decorator. The famous black ball adorned with a gadroon-shaped stopper is the perfect symbol of the Art Deco style in vogue at the time. On the front of the ball, a gilded engraving by the great artist Paul Iribe, which later became the company's coat of arms, depicts Jeanne bending over her daughter.
