Originally from Asia, the bitter orange tree was introduced to Spain by the Arabs in the 9th century, where it took the name "Seville orange tree", even though its fruit (the bitter orange) is unfit for consumption.
Today it is grown in many countries, including India, China and Paraguay.

This essential oil is EOBBD (Botanically and Biochemically Defined Essential Oil).
