An intensely vibrant scent, full of color, depth and a hint of sweetness, Scherzo captures a multitude of flowers: deep red rose, clouds of peony, sunny yellow narcissus and bright white pittosporum. The sweetness of mandarin is offset by the intoxicating violet richness of davana, which adds a touch of liqueur to the scent. The base shimmers with oudh, earthy patchouli and a pinch of sugar to capture the feel of a confectioner's window.

Launched in 2018, Scherzo was inspired by a text passage from F. Scott Fitzgerald's Tender is the Night. This short passage was the only thing given to perfumer Mathieu Nardin as a brief for the fragrance to be created. The resulting fragrance has become an instant classic and a bestseller in our perfume house at Miller Harris.
