Penhaligon's new eau de parfum \"The Favourite\" is inspired by Sarah Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough, considered one of the most influential women of her time.
Passionate and exuberant, she is a woman of influence who resolutely embodies this floral musk, built around the warm, powdery mimosa, from which emanates a powerful sweetness. A flower at the heart of the fragrance, preceded by a freesia, violet and mandarin accord, and followed by a trail of elegant Indian sandalwood and musk in a hushed, slightly boudoir, slightly secret atmosphere.
