Perfumers Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc, the creators of this fragrance, have created an oriental scent with a woody base Loverdose an oriental fragrance with a woody base. The top note features sweet-tart hints of lemon and mandarin. In the heart note, the combination of jasmine and gardenia adds femininity to a citrusy first impression. A minty aroma of licorice and star anise completes the bouquet, bringing freshness to the whole. The trail of parfum reveals a warm, luscious base of ambroxan wood, vanilla, cedarwood and sandalwood, giving Loverdose a sensual, almost animalic character; an overdose of love to be consumed without moderation.
